SUMMARY:
Manages the marketing and sales
of a branch from prospect calling to deal closing.
Manages the area workload and the
office. Interfaces with clients and potential
clients to ensure that the company is aware
of up-coming work to bid or get job that
are not bid related. Develops long term relationships
with customer group and maintains positive
image of the Midwest Demolition Company to
those customers. Interfaces with Area Manager,
Project Managers and Estimators to ensure
jobs and relationships remain positive.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Secures jobs from existing and potential customers by means
of visiting the customers or contacting by phone.
Secures opportunities to quote on customer
requirements.
Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations
submitted to customers.
Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships
with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering,
quality assurance, management, other key personnel).
Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning
customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems
concerning customer/vendor relationships.
Performs all assigned duties in the assigned
area.
Provides a branch work on hand forecast on
a monthly basis.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs any directly related appropriate
duties assigned by the Home Office.
Performs assigned duties with minimum personal
supervision from the Home Office.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Construction Management degree with 3 years
experience or a combined 10 years experience
in the construction demolition and environmental
industry.
